Festival Look Book

I'm back!

I know I know, worst blogger ever! Its been ... a few months since my initial post but I need to try and get into a little routine and updating my blog more often!

Anyway enough with the excuses and onto the blog post.

This year I went to my first ever festival! and as I'm from Scotland I obviously chose T in the Park! I had an amazing weekend with two of my best friends, but had no idea what to wear! Turns out my choices were pretty good and I was happy that I looked "festivally" enough .. if that is even a word. So I have decided to put a look book together for inspiration or others before the festival season comes to an end for another year.

Top: Boohoo - £10
Shorts - Primark - £12
Hairband - Primark - £2
Necklace - Ebay - £5

This first outfit which I wore on the Friday was my favourite outfit of the weekend! I loved the fringes on the top and my flowery hairband and sunglasses because lets be honest nothing says festival like fringes and flowers ... and wellies ofcourse!

Lace top - H&M - £5
Bandeau - Primark - £1
Shorts - Primark - £5

My second outfit of the weekend was just a simple lace top with a pink bandeau underneath but I incorporated a festival vibe with my pink flower hairband and flowery sunglasses.

Denim Shirt - Boohoo - £20
Shorts - River Island - £40 (last year)
Hairband - Primark - £4

This was my final outfit of the weekend! I decided I wanted a tie denim shirt but wasn't sure with it being Scotland if the weather was going to be nice so didn't want to get a sleeveless one and when I saw this from boohoo I thought it would be perfect. With the dip dye effect and cut out shoulders it was bang on trend this season and would suit the weather, whether it was cold or sunny! I paired this with pink denim shorts and a pink flower hairband to match my wellies!

Jacket - Ebay - £6!
Bumbag - Asda - £7
Hunter Wellies - £80 - ASOS
Sunglasses - I made these myself
Wellie socks - Ebay - £2.20 each

Finally I have attached a few festival accessories! Luckily for me it turned out to be a beautiful weekend at T in the park, the first year they've had sun since 2009!! So was a very pleasant surprise when Scotland got a heatwave! Reaching highs of 30 degrees on Friday! which is a very rare occasion here! So I did not need to wear my jacket! Luckily it was a bargain from Ebay and i'd much rather sun any day!

My sunglasses I made myself with supplies I bought from Ebay! I also made these for my friends for the weekend too.

However my favourite purchase was my leopard print bum bag! I'm rarely seen without something leopard print so I was just in love with this and it was a nice feeling knowing my money and phone were both safe from any pickpockets with my valuables tucked up in front of me!

Lastly here is a little picture of me enjoying the sunshine with an ice cream at T in the Park! Sadly my sunglasses didn't make it though the weekend as you can see haha! Also you may notice as the sunshine came out I was able to wear my converse over the weekend too :)!
